Introducing Direct Headset Control in the Vobling Training Platform
We are rolling out a significant update to the Vobling Training Platform that changes how you manage Vobling VR Fire Trainer sessions. You can now control the VR headset experience directly from your computer or tablet.
With this update, we are introducing a remote control function that gives anyone running the training full oversight and management capabilities straight from the platform dashboard.
Manage Scenarios Without Interruptions
The new control features allow you to steer the software experience seamlessly. From the platform, you can now:
Start training programs: Launch specific training modules directly from your screen.
Restart scenarios: Quickly reset a scenario if a trainee needs to try again.
Center and move menus: Adjust the position of the in-headset menus so they are always accessible to the user.
Set extinguisher efficiency: Adjust the difficulty by changing the extinguisher's efficiency settings on the fly.
Real-Time Hardware and Software Monitoring
In addition to controlling the software, the update provides a comprehensive real-time overview of your hardware status and the trainee's progress. You can now monitor:
Current scenario: See exactly which scenario the headset is currently running.
Battery levels: Check the battery status for both the VR headset and the connected fire extinguisher.
Safety pin status: See instantly whether the safety pin on the extinguisher is inserted or removed.
User and device information: See who is currently using the headset and identify which headset type is in use (e.g., HTC or Meta).
