Meet Turvata - Finland

In our We Are Global series, we highlight the resellers and partners representing Vobling VR Fire Trainer in their local markets. This time, we turn our focus to Finland, where Turvata helps bring VR fire training to organizations across the country.

We spoke with the team to learn more about their mission, their customers, and how VR Fire Trainer is being used in the Finnish market.

Who are you, and what is your mission?

At Turvata, we ensure that those who act to save people in moments of distress have the best possible chances of success.

We do this by delivering high-quality products and services to Turvanasi and Turvata Partners dealers, helping organizations access effective training and safety solutions.

What types of customers use the VR Fire Trainer the most in Finland?

Most users of the VR Fire Trainer in Finland are rescue departments and educational institutions. These organizations provide initial firefighting training for the private sector, supporting the training needs of companies, organizations, and local communities.

What is the biggest advantage of VR Fire Trainer in your market?

The VR Fire Trainer provides an approachable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly way to practice initial firefighting.

It allows users to gain hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment while making training more accessible and easier to repeat.

What do customers say after trying it for the first time?

Customers are often amazed by how realistic the experience feels.

They also value the opportunity to practice initial firefighting in different situations and with different types of extinguishers, allowing them to experience a wider range of scenarios than would typically be possible during traditional training sessions.

What makes Finland unique when it comes to safety training?

In Finland, VR is not yet approved for certain certifications, such as Hot Work license training.

However, work is ongoing to make this possible in the future, allowing more training to move into virtual environments. This reflects a growing interest in exploring how immersive technologies can support and enhance safety training across the country.
