Vobling VR Fire Trainer Update Coming Soon to HTC

We’re excited to bring the latest Vobling VR Fire Trainer experience to HTC headsets.

The update will be available soon and introduces a redesigned interface, hand tracking, and expanded training management through the Vobling Training Platform, giving you more control over your training from both the headset and your computer or tablet.

A More Intuitive Training Experience

The updated Vobling VR Fire Trainer features a cleaner and more intuitive interface, making it easier to navigate and interact with the training experience.

Hand tracking is also available on HTC, allowing users to interact naturally without relying on traditional controllers.

On HTC, hand tracking is currently an experimental feature and needs to be enabled manually in the headset settings.

For menu navigation, users can use the menu button on the left controller to recenter the menus whenever needed.

More Control with Vobling Training Platform

The update also brings expanded capabilities through Vobling Training Platform, our all-in-one solution for managing VR training.

Training managers can control Vobling VR Fire Trainer sessions remotely from a computer or tablet.

With the platform, you can:

• Start and restart training programs

• Center and move in-headset menus

• Adjust extinguisher efficiency

• Monitor headset and extinguisher battery levels

• Check the current scenario and safety pin status

• See the current user and headset type

This gives instructors greater control over the training session without needing to physically interact with the headset.

Track and Organise Training

Vobling Training Platform also makes it easier to manage training across your organisation.

Track end users, see who has completed training, organise training plans and sessions, and create custom training programs tailored to your needs.

Automated tracking and analytics provide additional insight into your training activity, helping you follow progress and identify where action may be needed.

HTC and Meta

Vobling VR Fire Trainer is now available with the updated experience on both HTC and Meta headsets.

Most features are available across both platforms, with one key difference: Mixed Reality / passthrough is currently only available on supported Meta headsets.
