We had the chance to talk to Mikael Himanka, fire prevention instructor at Brandfast Sverige AB. Mikael Himanka works for Brandfast Sverige AB. He is an instructor in fire prevention courses, mostly in Stockholm but also in other parts of southern Sweden.

How has your work or organisation changed since you started using the VR Fire Trainer? Before we started using VR as a way of training fire extinguishing we had only basic ways of doing indoor trainings. And we could never in a good way simulate different kinds of fires in a matter of minutes.

Do you have any key metrics for your improvement? What we have measured is that a higher number of participants are more satisfied with the extinguishing exercise than before. Previously we never got any compliments for that part but now we get it several times a week since we ask all our custumers for a evaluation.
